Summer countryside:

You may know that I work on a farm; a single track is used to access the farm;

Yesterday lunch time, I stood in the middle of the single track,
 looking south towards the  Ridgeway
and Marlborough Downs, I took these photographs:

Barlay in the field, behind the poppies growing on the side of the track.

I turned 180 degrees on the spot; I am now looking north and took this photograph
 - Fly Tipping left during the night!

 Cross, very sad and why, are emotions that come to mind.

A little update about me: I have been poorly, very poorly, I missed the month of May.  Due to a popped appendix (lots of gruesome details that I will leave out) and just when I could laugh without my stitches hurting and walk without a stoop, I was rushed back to the hospital with a gallbladder infection.  I had a lot of work to catch up with at work, including important year end things, like PAYE and VAT filing and wages! I missed exams at college and an exam I did take I failed by 1 mark, thankful now passed with flying colours. The silver lining, as there is always a silver lining; I now know what has been causing my periods of illness over the last 3 years. I am on a special diet, due to the gallbladder issues and also a diagnosis of Irritable Bowel Syndrome caused by intolerance of food (a rare form of IBS). I am feeling much better, I have a long way to go but oh so much better I am very pleased to say.

I do hope to chat to you all more xx
